New kids on the block: Pipehouse Gin

I'm sure by now you will have all heard about the exciting launch of Pipe House Gin! We spoke with the owners about their exciting new adventure.

“I have been a gin fanatic for as long as I have been allowed to drink and always dreamed of one day making my very own gin. That is until last year, when armed only with a healthy dose of naivety I decided to go for it and give my passion a shot. Together with my wife Emma Priestley and friends Ben & Katherine Larcombe we created our business: Pipehouse Gin. A lightly flavoured craft gin named after a fantastic historical drinking establishment from the early days of Tunbridge Wells. After nine months of extreemly hard work and learning just what we had got ourselves into, I couldn’t be more excited to announce our launch gin: Earl Grey & Cucumber. A unique but complementary pairing, just like our two founding couples.” Sam Priestley, Pipehouse Gin, Director.

Pipehouse Gin was started by two young couples, they wanted to reinvent how we think of flavoured gins. Their launch gin is a first of its kind. Combining Earl Grey and Cucumber with a traditional juniper base. A flavoured gin that is perfectly balanced and never sweetened, to create a modern classic.

Want in on the action? ‘Pipehouse Gin’ are hosting their launch event on 7th June at Chapel Place from 6pm with an open invite for all to come along, try their gin and meet the team. With Pipehouse Gin Cocktails for £5 and special discounts for attendees we defiantly won't be missing it! No need to RSVP, the team just want to meet as many local people as possible. But don't worry, if you can't make it the gin will be available to buy from local bars and online at www.pipehousegin.com.
